The Galveston Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Club is a committee of goodwill representatives whose objective is to promote your Galveston Chamber of Commerce and maintain our membership strength. Ambassadors are responsible for welcoming new and expanding businesses to the chamber at ribbon cuttings, mixers, luncheons, personal visits and special events. Ambassadors actively recruit members and continue to represent the Galveston Chamber while conducting business for themselves in the community. The C-Crewe, short for Chamber Crewe, was a product of the chamber’s Out-of-the-Box Committee and serves as the chamber’s young professionals group. The C-Crewe’s objective is to engage professionals under forty in the Galveston business community with the Galveston Chamber of Commerce. The group meets monthly for educational luncheons that create an excellent opportunity for them to make connections with one another and influential business leaders in our community. Additionally, they host after-hours mixers and two annual events, including Mudbugs & Beer on the Bayou each May and the Turkey Trot in November.
